And not only hasn't Bush's mission been accomplished in Iraq there is no end in sight & when he finally "jumps ship" by leaving office in 2 years he will happily pass his Iraq mess to the poor fool who becomes his successor. What a true patriot that Bush is. Don't you think?

It's not Mission Accomplished.....more like Mission Impossible!

Donald Trump said it best when asking about Iraq "At least Saddam made sure the terrorists were not controlling the country. He would deal with them".

The mission was to find weapons of mass destruction (WMD) and to topple Saddam. They did not find WMD but toppled Saddam. So I guess Mission Accomplished but at what cost?

The toppling of Saddam created far more terrorists in the long run that were ever created when Saddam was in power. Who do you think kept the two groups under control? Maybe this is why Saudi Arabia told them to not attack Iraq? Maybe they knew something that the United States did not know?

Bet old Dick Cheney did not think that this would interfere with Haliburton money making schemes as much?

I feel sorry for the poor sap who will be the next president. Bush to me is not a true patriot but a member of an elite group of people that really rule and control this world.

What mission accomplished? Bush's excuse for aiding Iraq was to root out WMD. There was no evidence of any kind that there were any WND except in his and Cheney's heads.

Bush was supposed to be fighting a war on terror and there was n9 link between al Queda and Iraq.

Why is the US fighting in Iraq? He is certainly not responding to 9/11 and that's a great insult to all the dead in 9/11.

Saddam Hussein sure was "worth" the lives of 3,100 young U.S. soldiers (and counting).

We are now stuck in Iraq. The U.S. fiasco in Iraq has made this country a punchline and a laughing stock all over the world.

"Mission accomplished."

However, Bush could care less about the war in Iraq. In several months, he'll be out of office and enjoying a comfortable retirement in his ranch.

He's got money in his pockets and the Republican elite to keep him company. Iraq will be somebody else's problem then, along with all the mess he made during his 'reign.'

"Mission accomplished."

Of course, OLD AGE and DEATH both have a mission too. And unlike Bush, they never fail. Remember how Ronald Reagan spent his last days? Mission accomplished.

George Bush speaks the truth in all he says & does.

But the truth is he only speaks for those that have a view of the world as they see it, not like the most of us.

He speaks for those who have & want more.
Not those who don't have and would like to have.

He represents the few that have almost every thing & the rest of us are just so much dirt under their feet.

If people are going to keep voting for that type of people that is what we will end up with. Its their world & they will run things the way they want to.

Yeah,i feel sorry for that poor fool. about last year, the war had been going on for about 3 years, and i forgot what the war was about and why we were fighting with Iraq. THAT'S how long we've been fighting, long enough for me to forget what the war was about. :(

The mission to topple Sadam was Accomplished. What I find really astonishing in you remarks that you are trying to imply that the whole terrorist movement came into power on Jan 20, 2001. If Gore was allowed to steal the election then this would have never happened. What a load of houie you are spewing. It seems to me this has been a growing problem and needed to be addressed but no one would step up to the plate. Not Clinton and not the UN. Why not. I guess the attitude was so let them blow up a few buildings and people because we are making a bunch of money and getting sex.

I think by his willingness to protect the people of the world from this scum make him a hero. You opinion seems to state that you think terrorism is AOK and wouldn't mind seeing you love one blown up.

If you own lots of Haliburton stock - as Dick "I'm A War Profiteer" Cheney does then Georgie probably is the best thing going.
