I think it is perfectly normal. I LOVE western movies and shows. Some of my favorite are:
1. Gunsmoke (James Arness is so hot!) (show)
2. Big Valley (Victoria is too tough!) (show)
3. Bat Masterson (I love this country gent!) (show)
4. Bonanza (show)
5. The Rifleman (Chuck Conners is pretty cool) (show)
6. Outlaw Josie Wales (I LOVE this movie!)
7. High planes drifter (movie)
8. Two mules for Sister Sarah (movie)
9. I am Nobody (the slapping dude!)
10. Tombstone (my all time favorite movie!!!)
**I like others - especially whatever Clint Eastwood is in--I can't think of any John Wayne movies, but I know them when I see them**

I would say it is not usual for most women. I really enjoy a good western myself.I find it a shame that there are not more of them put out. Thank goodness for AMC and my collection.

i liked blazing saddles... and the Trinity movies... Maverick was good, all the John Wayne & Clint Eastwood were pretty groovy.... The Snowy River movies were cool.... ive not watched any in a while.....
