That's because laws suck, if you killed a person, but not three you will not go to jail.And when you go they have TV, computers etc.and they will get out in less than a year. We need prison like in the old days, when nobody wanted to go, because they had to work all day.

You're right there. It's got so bad that it is only occasionally that I watch the news now. As for why it's happening I think there are a variety of reasons: movies glorifying violence, the outlawing of discipline in schools today, the fact that there are more class A drugs on the streets than there used to be, and of course the penal system has become so lax that prison is not the deterrent that it used to be.There are loads more reasons of course but I think these are some of the main ones.

Everyday you hear of another child loosing their life to this kind of crime. My heart goes out to all those who have lost someone in this way or in any kind of crime. I wish to God!!! that we could do something about it. And get these kids to understand that is not a game, its not to do with who can show they're big men by doing these things. There is debate after debate but nothing substantial being done. Time for some form of action, education, government money, parents responsiblity, even religious teaching maybe to put morals and standards back into the lives and minds of all the kids that think they can do this. I want it to all stop and i'm prepared to educate them, if there were facilities put in place to do that.

This is yet another young child murdered within five mile of where I live, it is getting so out of hand I am a mother of a sixteen year old boy and also 2 girls one 20 0ne my sons 16 year old twin sister, I am so afraid I find myself ruining my kids childhood because I am so scared for them to go anywhere, when is this gonna stop we need to change the law over here make it more like America where life means life and murder is a life sentence not oh you got 5 years but cause your a good boy now your out in 2 and then there is time off for remand so guess what your out in six months. it makes me sick life should be life

i'm a Republican, i will vote for McCain, and that i'm annoyed with "us vs. them". i rather wish we could come across a center floor and do what maximum suitable for the folk of this u . s .. so some distance as this "sweetie" factor...this is merely greater political rubbish. i in my opinion do no longer care that he observed as somebody "sweetie" on 2 events (OH NO!!!). My mom in regulation calls me that...huge deal?! i think if he calls a gay guy "sweetie", then somebody will say "Obama must be gay...what else is he hiding?" heavily, the two Dems and Reps make huge themes out of stupid little issues, which i be attentive to is "the norm" because of the fact they're combating for the presidency, and the two facets hates the different. yet is there ANY genuine way for applicants to sell themselves the main suitable they might without degrading their fighters?

I am afraid that for some reason a lot of people have been born without conscience and no real respect for life, or alot of parent's are not teaching our children properlly about compassion and life and in general.IT REALLY SCARES ME TO WATCH THE NEWS ANYMORE! IT IS SO SAD.
