the only supernatural event that ever occured in this universe was the beggining what started it is unexplainable we dont know what started but the big bang theory in my belief just explains what happened after it in thus the big bang was not a cause but an effect of what happened before, what i think happened before might confuse some and anger but this is philosphy what if the end of the universe was the beggining like the theory is that later on millions of years from now the universe is supposively going to collapse on itself what if after that the energy from that very destruction causes the beggining of the universe in which history actually is repeating itself.weird huh?just a theory on a theory no harm intended just to open minds a little bit thats all.but can you prove it wrong? thats the real question.

and ronin the so called top contributor of topics you are mistaking supernatural for something else you have confused and twisted my words in the wrong way to where you have now given me pointless info , but its probly my bad shoulda used more details but here you go. ill start with a question can you make something outta nothing?your answer:no you cant.so in the beggining of time there was?right!nothing so how do you turn nothing into something?a supernatural event that we dont know about and probably never will.ding ding ding.good job you just been awarded the common sense award.if you defy the impossible you are doing something supernatural.and srry for being such a smartass about it but its part of my character and a little character goes a long way.

well and also the multi verse thing does help explain other things in this life amybe its compilation of both.and for some of you it may be better if we never figured it out maybe thats the only drive you have is not knowing and wanting to know for you ignorance is bliss and maybe for all it is best and for us philosphers pure agony.maybe we will doom us all one day but that is to far away to tell or maybe closer than we think who knows?.........who knows?weird huh?

thx fuzzynut for the enlightenment even though you kinda put some words in my mouth but thats philosphy for ya but any way im not explaining the beggining i already stated the very beggining is supernatural event and also you sound like you are more toward the science world than the philosophical one to me because of your whole line up of how to turn something into a theory, but to me a status of someones philosphy is useless and degrading who ever introduced titles to the philosophical realm is completely retarded.well anyway you cant prove anything right in this world for you would need eternal knowledge which noone has and also you only can not prove anything wrong.which you havent done because you have no evidence because to prove me wrong youd have to be a katrillion years old and lived through all of tim ewhich would basically make you god , this is philosphy not science it can only be closely related through the mediator science-fiction.

The concept you're looking for (one of them) is called the "eternal reoccurence". Look it up.
Your question is a form of the eternal reoccurence, it argues that given the same conditions and environments, the individual mind will forever repeat certain elements of history.
You "made" this theory up, so did others before you.

Your theory is a hypothesis, as you show no evidence that it has been tested enough to be a theory. Just a minor detail.
I've thought the same thing from time to time...that the 'Big Crunch' will just result in all the matter in the universe colliding together at astronomical speeds, causing all the matter to re-disperse itself. And there is nothing to say that it hasn't happened already, possibly multiple times. Eventually (multiples of trillions of years from now) there would just be a blob of matter after everything lost its momentum from the Big Crunch (actual philosophical/scientific term).
Of course, this doesn't explain what set all the matter into motion in the VERY beginning, just the beginning of the cycle that brought us about, so it doesn't actually explain anything. It just looks at the Big Crunch in a happier light. But it isn't certain yet that there will be a Big Crunch. We could be in an expanding universe or a flat universe.
Can you be proven wrong? Yes. First, you have shown no documented testing, so your theory is not a theory. Second, your hypothesis does not explain the initial cause of everything, which is what the Big Bang was created to do. Your hypothesis 'explains' the cause of the matter rebounding off other matter after a previous Big Crunch, resulting eventually in our evolvement. There is still the problem of where everything came from in the very beginning. It's a fun idea that really doesn't do much except let us view the Big Crunch with a smile.

BEHIND EVERY PHILOSOPHICAL DOOR IS A GOD WAITING TO BE DISCOVERED!
You CAN actually make something out of nothing. Nothing justifies something, and vice versa.
But by the law of relative order, something gets precedence over nothing, which in fact was justified by your claim that "the big bang was an effect and not a cause".
Now, you are probably right that we may not know the "first cause" but given the superiority of man over all "effects," the Biblical account of a Supernatural (which we call God), sounds most plausible, because it gave man a little likeness to the Supernatural.

Interesting. Take a look at string theory. All matter is created by tiny vibrating strings which makes a huge membranes, when the oscillating membranes collide matter is formed. Hence the big bang, galaxies and what happened before time began. Interesting too, proven with mathematics. The odd thing is the scientists kept coming up with multi universes and 13 dimensions. There is so much we don't know!

Hi Danny,
In fact your theory may have merit. In physics, it is know as the "oscilating universe" theory. Some theorists postulate that the universe will continue to expand until gravity causes the expansion to stop, and for the universe to begin collapsing in on itself in the "Big Crunch."
This theory rises or fall on the amount of matter in the universe; and so far, the missing amount of matter has not been found. This isn't to say that someday physicists might not find it -- but so far they haven't. So for now at least, the Big Crunch is only hypothetical.

I see what you're getting at, but just because we don't understand it yet, does not make it supernatural.
It took us thousands of years to discover bacteria. That doesn't mean that illness was supernatural until we did. We've only known abut the expansion of the universe for about 70 years. It's a little early to call our incomplete knowledge proof of the supernatural.

well, a theory is just a theory. it needs to be proven as fact and there needs to be evidence of that proof. i am not here to prove anything right or wrong. there was no proof of reincarntation or the THEORY of darwinism, although there is proof that the world was created by God and that things in the bible are reaaly true. noah's ark was found in the last 10-20 years. there's the shroud that was wraaped around Jesus when He was dead for 3 days.

well hopefully noone is going to get in your face for posting a theory...
But consider that there are alot of things that science can't prove or have no idea how things work.
a good example is the dragonfly...engineers will say that it is physically impossible for the dragonfly to fly..yet it does..
even worse is science can't duplicate it or explain it away..
read darwin..his studies basically detailed the minor evolution of a species of bird..he never stated that man evolved from apes moreorless ameobias..
the big bang does little to explain how select species came to be..
sure someday the sun will explode and it will be the end of the world as we know it..and I feel fine

Yesterday's supernatural becomes today's natural. In the future, I think the things you mention will be explained. Just because someone does not understand something now that does not make it supernatural. I do not think anything supernatural exists. Everything will be explaned in time.

haha.
how about this?
You've learnt about molecules and atoms (i hope)
sun = nucleus
9 planets = electrons
solar system = atom
1 molecule = A atoms
1 DNA (or cell)= B molecules
1 human body = C cells
backtracking
earth = 1/9 planet of solar system
earth = 7 continent
1 continent = X country
1 country = Y city
1 city = Z people
that's my theory
how BIG is 1 person?
Lego: just imagine
