I am going to buy mr friends used ion(paintball gun), is there any thing that i should know about ions?

It has a black/silver body kit. he put a flame drop forward on it, a trinity locking feedneck, and a new trigger. he is gonna give his 48ci 3000psi nitro tank and a viewloader revolution hopper with it. he wants 260 for it. is that a good price? also is there anything specific i should know about the ion?

i played with his ion last saturday, its all good and works well, the batteries are a little low on the hopper, but that is easily fixed, i have a tippmann 98 for woods play. thats why i want an ion, for speedball and airball.

Make sure the gun works first, then check the date on the tank, all tanks only last 5 years, make sure the hopper works, tell him you want to see a demonstration first.
Aslo, the Ion is only good if you are playing speedball/indoor paintball. If you want to play on the woods instead, you should buy a Tippmann 98 or A-5.
