I had a show on friday, and i've had heavy discharge since, but this afternoon, the discharge is yellow in colour and stained with blood. I am 41 wks with my 3rd baby and i've never had this before.
Has anyone else had this and if so how long before labour started?

it could be the rets of your mucus plug if the discahrge is stained withblood but not full of blood. if it is alot of blood to the hospital you must go.

The first thing to do is phone your labour ward/midwife and explain your symptoms just to be on the safe side. I had a show 3 days before I went into labour

It sounds to me like your plug has been slowly coming out. That is how mine went. Also if you do not feel labor pain it does not automatically mean your not in labor. I went in for a scheduled inducement with my second daughter and when I got there they said I was fully effaced and 6 cm dilated. They said I was having regular contractions but I never felt them. I only felt pain with the final 2 cm. Had I not been in the hospital already I would have had her at home. Watch your body and keep in touch with your doctor. Best Wishes.

Could it be your mucus plug. I had this and went into labour about 6 hours latter.

Please go strait to your medical centre and get examined by doctor or Midwife. I have never heard of this, other than an infection... I'm not saying its that, but it could be, which will need URGENT medical attention. Better be safe than sorry.
Good luck!
