The second pregnancy is traditionally easier than the first, plus you have the benefit now of a previous experience. The hormonal rollercoaster ride is also less dramatic with second and subsequent births. While you still may experience morning sickness, swelling and lethargy, these effects should be less than the first pregnancy. You will notice a more calm experience during labor and delivery, however, post delivery, you'll be more sore and will need extra time to recouperate. Those muscles are going to receive a workout and they will need some TLC when your wonderful baby is born.

I found that every pregnancy is different. The first is the worst cuz it's the first time pregnant after that u know what to expect but it will still b different from any other. As far as the cramping I think u should tell your doctor about that cuz u can get some discomfort throughout the pregnancy but cramping is a hit n miss.It could b bcuz of another reason like a cyst on your ovary which is what caused me to have cramping in 1 of my pregnancies.Don't b alarmed cuz every women gets a cyst with each pregnancy n goes away after baby is born but most r not any bigger then your pinky nail.I would see your doctor n inquire about these things. In your ultra sound they will b able to see if there is anything wrong n if u have had 1 already u can request another to b sure.Your doctor should order another ultra sound cuz of the cramping anyway cuz that is to go way.Congrads and good luck.

Every pregnancy is different. Heard that a million times yet? Ha ha. Seriously though, with my first pregnancy (twins) I had an easy pregnancy up until the end. Virtually no symptoms. This time (a singleton) I'm super sick....still (at 17 weeks). Cramping is normal. I did get that both times. Try not to worry too much. Best of luck

no, my second pregnancy was worst by far then my first, the first I was happy and just had morning sickness, my second I was moody I showed a lot quicker, had all day sickness, and towards the end of my pregnancy the baby kept laying on my sciatic nerve so I had a lot of pain in my back. But the good news!!! the labor was cake compared to my first once my water broke I delivered in an hour and 45 mins with 2 minutes of pushing yeah she was flying. The cramping you stated above is typical as long as there is no bleeding. I had two girls and my pregnancies were night and day so it seems there isn't much difference because of sex. Congrats and good luck.

It really is different for everyone. Some have an easier first and some an easier second or third. I never had morning sickness or anything with my second like I did with my first. Just be thankful that you are having an easier time with this baby since you now have a baby to care for while pregnant. Best wishes and relax and enjoy!

My 2nd and 3rs pregnancys were easier in the since that I knew kind of what to expect, but all preganncys are different. I had 3 boys and everyone was different. you do cramp more with the more kids you have becaus eyou feel you contracting up and after teh baby you will actually feel your belly contract down. way more with the 2nds and on than with the first. My 2nd and 3rd were more crampier than my first and everything happened faster because my body was already trained. I wa ssick for 3 months with all my boys though.

All pregnancies are different...
My first son I threw up the whole 9 months, had horrible heartburn and a difficult labor/delivery.
My second son had a decent pregnancy. Alot of pain towards the end. He was 2 weeks late. And easy delivery.
It just depends. GOod luck and congrats!

I was the total opposite. With my first pregnancy I had no symptoms at all. It was so easy it was hard for me to realize there was a baby in my stomach. However with my second I tell you everything under the sun came up. Each person is different therefore each pregancy is different. I would be happy that yours is going so well.

NO! For the first 5 weeks, I thought it was rocking awesome. But then the nausea hit. It was so much worse and I threw up so much more with #2. Had to go on meds for nausea. Plus, I am having pubis symphisis problems (pain in pelvic area). However, my weight gain is less and my heartburn is better, so somethings have improved :) But overall, this is much harder.

I'm only 14 weeks with my second but so far the pregnancies are very similar. Pretty much no problems.
