Daft, in terms of carbon emissions, but what about my boat ?
It chucks out blue smoke to get me slowly about the countryside.

4.9? and smokes? Time for a new engine.Earlier Trans Ams came with 350ci, 400ci I personally would go for a 326ci,lots of power for that car.Bigger blocks were too much power and the rear end of the car too light. You may also want to go with the 'small block' 400 with 350ci crank and rods, high energy ignition and 4 barrel Holley dual pump carburetor. Can not give you enough info here.Good Luck
