I keep my sweaters on a shelf in my closet. When I pulled out some of my wool ones to wear, they had little moth holes in them. How should I store them to avoid this happening to my new wool sweaters? Plastic containers? Cardboard boxes? Cedar chest? Also, do I have to worry about my wool blend sweaters or only 100% wool?

I recommend placing them in an airtight plastic storage container along with pieces of cedar, or a cedar lined footlocker. The cedar keeps away the moths. I know you can buy all the necessary items at the Container Store, but they are probably available elsewhere for less money.

Have you seen the plastic bags, that you put your clothes or blankets in, then you take a vaccuum hose, and with draw the air from the bag, to give you more storage space? Well, I think it would be good for your wool sweaters.

i store my stuff in those vacume sealed bags, nothing is getting in there. dont use those plastic containers cuz stuff can get in there and the cedar chest is also a good idea, but they have those big plastic bags and you put your clothes in there and it has a white tube thing coming out of it and you just suck all the air out and the bag gets really thin, and you can store alot more stuff that way too
