Don't worry at all about leaking - the old wive's tale of having to lie there with your legs in the air afterwards is just that, an old wives tale. It would be more unusual NOT to leak as there's your own lubrication, plus his semen - and there are still MILLIONS of sperm still in there! It can take six months for your body to resume it's natural cycle after a few years on the pill, and it really is too early for you to start worrying.

Well first of all, if you have stopped taking the pill 7 months ago, that could be a good reason why your not exactly pregnant YET..usually after the depo shot or pill, it takes a little longer to conveive..But in time you will conceive, dont worry and about the leaking?..thats normal for it to come back out, When it does come out, It doesnt mean thats theres not enough that stays in there to get you pregnant..Because there is..and usually stays active until 5 days later...
The best time to get pregnant is usually in the middle of their cycle...for a woman who has a 28 day cycle they will most likely get pregnant around 14 days after the last period. so right in the middle of their last period and when the next is supposed to arrive!!

Hi Elektra, it is pretty normal for you to 'leak' but it doesn't mean that it has all leaked out though and I am pretty sure this has nothing to do with you not conceiving (although depth of penetration and timing of climax is important). I hate to say this to you babe but I think you need to get some expert advice.....it could turn out to be something really simple......don't feel embarrassed about talking to an expert as millions of people have the same concerns when they are trying for a baby......nothing to be worried about.

The fluid that leaks out is not all sperm. It is semen, which is just the fluid that carries the sperm. It leaks out of your body because your body doesn't need it. Don't worry that happens to me to. After you have sex lay with a pillow under your hips for about 20 minutes.
Because you just stopped taking the pill, your body still needs to adjust to its regular cycle.

I have been worrying about this to. We are on our 13 month, still ttc. Tried all the home tests, and all is fine, so when it 'leaks' i think we have wasted it... but sounds to me like we haven't! Good luck girl, and just relax and enjoy!

Why don't you try to have an orgasm after he's ejaculated as that's what it was designed for - to suck up the sperm. I've only just started this method in this cycle so can't say if it helps just yet, but it certainly doesnt harm - does just the opposite and floods you with good chemicals that'll relax you and they do say to relax - what better way...!! LOL
