OK, I posted a similar question last week, and got some great answers, I am not sure how many dpo I am, I thought I was about 18, but I am not so sure now, I know I ovulate late, so I might be about 13 or 14 dpo.
I AM however 5 days late for AF!!!
I have alot of pregnancy symptoms:
Stuffy nose
sore breasts
tired
heartburn
frequest urination
backache
mild cramping on and off, last Tues & Wed
*I am thinking that I may have implanted last week, hence my negative test result Saturday morning.

Can anyone shed some light. I know a late period is a telltale sign, plus with all my other symptoms, I am almost positive I am pregnant, but why the negative result????

You probably are pregnant!!!
The reason for the negative test result is of course because you probably tested too early. You need to give your body time to build up the pregnancy hormone. In other cases, some women don't build up the pregnancy hormone(HcG) as fast as others. I have heard stories of some women not finding out that they were pregnant until they were like 2-3 months!!!
You should go to the doctor because they can test your blood which shows the hormone before your urine will.

Good luck!!!!!!!!

I kept taking HPT after I was late for my period. They were all negative. Apparently I don't make much of the hormone at first because after 18 negatives and still no period I asked my doctor for a blood test. It was borderline. I was soooo frustrated. Two days later I got my positive and now 30 weeks along I know those other tests were VERY wrong! You could just not produce enough of the hormone to show up right away. Good luck

could be because there wasnt enough hcg in your urine at the time to get a positive yet, the symptoms you describe sound like you pretty much are, but before you get your hopes up, just try waiting to take another test within a week or so for a more accurate result!...

First and foremost don't get your hopes up. You have the telltale signs of pregnancy but also that of a period coming on. This could also mean your body is working itself up to become pregnant..........it will happen......believe in it and it will.
