by sleeping till 2:30 pm yesterday because I got up and made a ham dinner with all the fixings and a chocolate cream pie?

think of it this way you got rest....
the house didn't burn down
no kids hanging from the ceiling fan
no kids in the dryer or washer
no kids with frost bite or "tongues stuck to metal post" (wink)

everyone has 10 toes and fingers
and that bowl haircut on your son will grow out sooner or later
so whats the worry

so you slept one day till 2:30, big deal. no its not neglect unless your kids are really little and NO ONE was watching them, but as long as someone was there with them, or they are old enough, its really not neglect, you sound like a great person just for feeling bad about this. i always feel bad when i take a nap and my kids are teenagers, but its always better when moms awake, always better when moms up, we all know that!!!

Yes. I'm sure they forgot all about their total neglect now that their tummies are full of yummy ham and chocolate.
