I wonder how Rubben Studdard won.. Even runners up Clay Aiken is now better superstar than him. I didn't heard much about him ever since the American Idol finale. Taylor Hicks is not that good too. In my opinion, Chris Daughtry are much more better & he deserve more to be the American Idol. Kelly Clarkson has been the most successful American Idol for now & she really have the talent. Her vocal is stable & strong. People should not vote that person because of their look or image. In a singing competition, they should be judge for their singing ability & talent. If only one very good performance can make that person an Idol, then, just make American Idol a 1 day singing competition. Competitors will not take so many days & months to gone through so many challenges. People should vote for participant that is consistant & alwiz stay good rather than bad & only 1 good performance. It's very clear that people vote for their own hometown mate but till the end, any winner is american. So, what's the difference? American will always be proud of American. Stay focus & choose your best American Idol this time.. Stay awake on their performance. Do not just watch your favourite & change your channel when others singing. The last tip is to listen to the judges especially Simon Cowell....

I don't really like American idol..I think it's boring, but still. If I had to chose the worst winner it would be Carrie Underwood...why? beacuse despite the fact that she seems like a really nice girl and all, she is really boring and she sings country wearing clothes that try to make her look all rock chic or something which she isn't. Even though everyone has a rocker inside them. I dont think she has that big of a rocker inside her! lol. anyway, it just annoys me that she's winning all these grammys when sooo many other people deserve it more than her. There are so many other people that should have one a Grammy, but never got the chance. And she comes along with her first album and she's winning them??!! It just seems messed up if u ask me.

Either Taylor Hicks or Ruben Studdard. Actually I kind of like Taylor just because he's so totally the wrong person to have won American Idol (check out how irritated Simon Cowell was by him - hilarious). But he's basically not that great a singer. He's kind of entertaining, but if it's a singing competition, he really shouldn't have won.

Ruben's just a big pointless lump if you ask me. He has a nice voice, but he just hasn't done anything - and I don't think the guy has any personality whatever.
