you either have to manually enter that information or you need to open up the music in windows explorer and then get online to search for the information

when you burn a cd you copy the information on there, and there is only music, it can't read the cd jacket

You need to be connected to the internet and the Windows Media player configured to use www.cddb.com website. This webiste has a list of all the CD's and that's where the info comes from. Have a look at the webiste it cool, and free to use.
