Think of all the countries in the world that are over populated..

Now think of all the times countries have had a whole bunch of people killed off.

Do you think we need we need these disasters to keep the balance of people level?

We are trying to keep people alive longer, Why? why do we need to? I know its hard losing people especially family, but this planet is way too over populated and we need to stop, we are killing the planet by not letting nature do its thing with us.

Think of all the babies that are born with no senses what-so-ever and will never have a life (not by normal standards anyway) So why do we fight so hard to keep these types of people alive?
Back in cave man's time it was survival of the fittest, if you couldn’t hunt, catch and kill your food you didn’t eat, and thus didn’t survive.
Do you think that made more sense? if not than why not? do you somehow think that by keeping more and more people alive that we have somehow evolved into a better race?

I agree with you completely.
Self-preservation is the strongest human drive. Some people think it is perfectly valid to spend millions to save 1 life. I do not.

One of the reasons people have many children is because in their countries it is what they use for social security.
In many cultures like in India and China males are preferred and females are aborted.

Around the world the more educated a woman is the more likely she is to have less children.

This has changed the balances of nature.
The emphasis of birth control is placed on women when it should be put on men.

Think about it how many women could be impregnated by one man's sperm in the same amount of time it takes a woman to bear one child? Millions.

Capitalists love overpopulation - it gives them more profits.

And how about religions that tell their followers to have large families so they can take over the world.

I agree with you to a point. We are all dieing slowly no matter how healthy we feel. It's a part of life. I don't believe in evolution, (I'm a christian), and I believe God made us to live forever. I believe that's why so many are afraid to die. When Adam + Eve ate from the tree of knowledge, their eyes were opened and their innocence was lost forever. I think as generations went by people have just lost the meaning of a simple and rewarding way of life. They want to be smarter but as you can see the world is in pretty bad shape considering all the knowledge it's accumulated over the last century. And speaking of all the baby's that are born,,,,what about all the baby's that are aborted (killed), they don't even have the right to live and maybe just maybe been able to make a difference in the world. I also believe that there is enough room on this planet for everyone,,,but it's up to everyone to respect the laws of nature and protect the Earth,,it's the only Earth we have! Peace

Here's my answer to that part
of the question: Besides disbelief in
evolution and science in general, do you
also think that The Census Bureau is
off their rocker, and the World Census
statistics are not based on reliable data?
Or, do you think Armageddon will come
soon and it won't matter if the Rainbow
Warrior is based on a huge liberal left-wing
school of thought and none of those ideas
about the ecology are true?
I go to Pop Clock. There is one for the
United States, and one for the world.
Haven't looked lately, and yes, these
are estimates but based on calculations,
and you can write it off as just another
political something or other. The world
clock shows deaths vs. births, and since
I started watching the clock in 2000, and it
always shows that the birth rate is higher
than the death rate. If all your living relatives
each buy 2 apples a day and eat 1 apple
a day, after a month you all got a lot of
apples. Then apply that to population on
a world scale, and you have a real reason
for concern.

I think it's far more important to keep people living healthy lives than long ones. Sometimes that goes hand in hand, sometimes not.

I'd rather just live til I'm 100 and be in great shape than live to 120 with 50 of those years in agony.

Anyway, this whole life is an illusion. Our bodies are a misperception of our true selves. We are all immortal.

Cave men didn't actually hunt that much. The majority of their diet was fulfilled by gathering nuts, berries, and other edible plants.

I believe that we are trying to keep people living longer because we are afraid of death. I think it is better to provide people with the means to take care of themselves and to promote a lower birth rate.

I don't know about if we have evolved into a better race. I think we may seem more compassionate. We promote, at least in theory, individual autonomy, opportunity, tolerance. But in the world their is still slavery, prejudice, dictatorships. We still have murderers, rapists, and drug cartels.

Yet by keeping more people alive longer, we are potentially giving the human race more people who can offer positive contributions. Perhaps even some solutions to our problems.

I don't think I've answered your question but I thank you for giving me some food for thought.
