Whatever YOU feel that it is. Everyone has their unique definition.

The opposite of success, is trying to live someone else's definition of success. THAT is misery.

Peace, tranquility, contentment . . . are the indicators of success.

The one thing that has NOTHING to do with success, is money. How do I know this? Succesful people have widely varying amounts of it.
Is Bill Gates successful? How about the business owner in the small town? What about the retiree? What EXACT dollar figure would denote success? It's too vague --too illusory. I know some people living on less than $30,000 a year. They are some of the happiest people around. I go over to their place just for the entertainment and enthusiasm of people genuinely enjoying LIFE. Something is always going on, and it's always a blast.

Do what you want, and enjoy it. Screw the scorekeeping. Screw the expectations of a thousand "experts". Screw the Joneses. Relax and enjoy YOUR life.

It depends upon ur age & ur experiences,

As a clerk feel successful when his daughter gets married.
a student feel successful when it is able to score high in class.
An athelete is successful when he wins the race.
An advocate is successful when he wins the case.

So try to define success in ur words,don't bother about the world.
Afterall its ur life & ur success Who is anyone to interfere in between.

Try to define it teh way u like.

Being happy. It doesn't matter what you are doing, if you are happy then you have success. What else is there in life to look forward to?

apply the formula " inside to outside "
that is-being , doing and then having
not outside to inside
that is
first u have to see what u r
secondly u shold do better work with positive attitude
third point is that u should be satisfied with what u r having.
succeesful people radicate a positive attitude that inspire others to help them realize their dreams
successful people know that being persistent involves making choices.
this will surely take you to the stairs of succees.
