Hey, stay at the jumeriah beach hotel, i lived in dubai for 2 years & its the best one, no matter what anyone else says. its new excellent 5 star service and facilities for everything you can imagne and value is great for what u get. I stayed in it for 3 weeks. The burj al arab is too over done for its like 7 stars & i found it way OTT.....but its ok for dinner 1 time as an experience.
If you do stay there let me know how u get on..

The best hotel to stay in Dubai is the Madinat Al Qasr, it is part of the Jumeirah group and is next to the Burj al Arab. You will also be given access to the burj and maybe the Wild Wadi water park too.
There is also the Madinat - Mina al Salaam and another one too but I cant remember the name !! they are all in the same grounds but the Al Qasr has the best rooms available.
Im living in Dubai myself originally from the UK too believe me you wont regret it !!

Burj Al Arab is the best 7star hotel in the world if u want 5star go to Jumeira Beach that 1 is the best 5star hotel

i think jumeira Beach resort or Burj Al Arab depending on your taste and budget
