hi there, i am young and my bf and i have been having sex, but we were so busy with school this past semester, well we were only able to have sex three times this month. we used a condom everytime, but the third time we had sex the condom broke, that day i went to the store and immediately started taking plan b, _this was thursday it is not monday and my period still has not come, could i be pregnant? and how easy is it to get pregnant?

I doubt you are pregnant if you took Plan B correctly - however, there is always that chance! Why don't you try a HPT just to be safe! I am sure it is your stress that is warding off your period.
By taking the HPT it should calm your fears. If you are still nervous after the results (which I assume will be negative) call your doctor for a blood test - they are VERY accurate!

First see if that condom you used had spermicide on it, if so you would have a better chance of not being pregnant. That happen to me many years ago and the pharmacist said if there was spermicide on the condom it will most likely kill the sperm before it leaked out of the broken condom. Also take a pregnant test, this could be what you need to relax. Your period will be delayed if you are under stress and this could be the reason you have not started yet. So take a test and try to relax and your period should start soon..

Think about how long your cycles are. Day 1 of your cycle is the 1st day that you bleed. Ovulation (when your egg can be fertilized) usually occurs about 10 - 16 that's if you cycle is 28 days long. In other words. Your period will start about 2 weeks after you ovulate so you could count backwards from your last cycle to see when you would have this cycle. I'm sorry that seems confusing, but I don't know how else to explain it. Sperm can live for up to 5 days and your egg only lives about 24 hours. So if you did it in that week span of when you ovulated then it was more likely to happen.
Chances are you're not since you did use some protection. Just be careful. Your period might just be a little late because of stress.

You need to wait atleast a month before you start to worrie b/c stress can cause you not to have a peroid...I got pregnant easy just b.c some ppl do. Wait a while and if still nothing take a home pregnancy test and see but dont go rushing out to the dr. You might not be

Well it is possible, but im going to say probably NOT in this case. Sometimes worrying or stressing about your perooid coming can actually stop it from coming. Relax.
Its good that u are trying to be safe using condoms, its just unfortunate that it had to break on u, but thats the risk u have 2 take being sexually active.

When are you due to have your next period?
The morning after pill can change your cycle, but you should normally have a period about 7-10 days after taking it.
Plan B is a very effective especially if taken within 24 hours!

It is much easier than you think when you're young. I wouldn't think, though, that you're pregnant if you took plan b. It may be stress that is knocking your period off course. Relax, wait a week or so, then if you still haven't had a period take a pregnancy test. Good Luck.

the pill may have offset your period too, and it is very easy to get pregnant. it only takes once ovbiosly and i would wait a few days than ask a dr or pharmacist how long it should be until you get your period. Than if you dont have it in 2 weeks from today i would test myself. goo dluck with your come out

I would take a hpt . and go from there. if the condom broke it could be that you can get pregnant from that one time. relax and don't worry, being stressed and worried about it can delay your period.

Well, it's easier than you'd like to think. Best check with the pharmacist or a doctor to see when you should expect have a period.
