Hi i have a bt router (not a wireless one) and i was wandering how i can run the internet from my mums computer as well as mine without having to go wireless because i have dodgy area i can only just get 5 channels on my tv.

just use the cable connection as ur living in the dodgy area it will surely help u

You would have to run a cable from the modem to the router. then the router to both computers. I would recommend that you put the router nearest the cable modem.
If you went wireless the signal is coming from in your house to in your house. It does not rely on an outside signal like the tv does. So you would still be okay to hook up a wireless network.
