Most definitely not. It is a myth that they will and it is a myth that they pay the interest. It up to you to let the lender know that you are unemployed and they may allow you to miss a few payments. They will tolerate about 3 missed payments and then will be after you. Best thing is to take out a protection policy for this eventuality and you would then have the monthly payments taken care of. Beware though as there is a limit to the payments they will make.

I don't think so. You should have taken out a protection policy with your mortgage which ensures the interest will be paid if you become unemployed for any reason.

You will need to check with the state where you are living to see what extra benefits they pay. Also, if you are married and your combined income is too great you may not qualify for some benefits outside of the unemployment insurance compensation.

They pay you so much a month, depending upon your most recent job income. You can use the $ however you see fit.

you are drawing unemployment wages paid in by you and the employers...it has "NOTHING" to do with your mortgage...if you do not have an attached insurance policy to your mortgage for this type of situation...you still have to pay it ...call your lender to find out...
