I think that Kelly Clarkson is the best and most successful American Idol winner.

My favorite singer in the whole wide world = Kelly Clarkson
She has got her talent, the personality, the best thing is that she's humble and down-to-earth. She sold the most albums among all the idols, and I believe that she has fans all over the world!

Well, Kelly and Carrie have had the most success, with Carrie probably having a litle more. So I cannot really choose which is better. However, I personally like Kelly better, only because I listen to pop more than country. Except Carrie is really good and has had a lot of success.

Kelly Clarkson was put into the show to make it popular. She most probably had a contract beforehand (as has been proven in the UK competition with Will Young). This probably means Carrie is the most successfull from the show. Not many people have said RUBEN, but he is an awesome talent too..

I agree with you. My pick would be Kelly Clarkson as well. She has surpassed the American Idol title. She has made a name for her self. You hear her name and you don't think, "American Idol winner". She's made the best with her opportunity as one of the winners of that show.
