yes. It is the only way that they can excuse what they did. Sort of like making back people into 3/8th of a person so that you can justify enslaving them. Same thought process.

No not at all... If they are doing this to you then get out of the marriage now. They need counseling and help for their anger if they are doing this. This is not normal or healthy at all.
