Why are women rarely serial killers?

I know there is a couple, but why do men take the cake?

I think that in general, woman just aren't as volatile as men. And even if some are, they just don't have the strength to be a serial killer. Most men kill because of power. The murder may or may not be intentional at first. They are trying to get control of the other person, then when it ends in death, they feel the ultimate power of taking a life and they do it again and again. I don't think woman in general seek out power that way. We want more psychological control than physical. Most female serial killers killed people close to them. I only know of a couple that killed strangers violently. It seems woman use less physical ways to kill, like poison.

Well, a majority of them are men so you know they kind of become the face of it. Women are rarely serial killers because it takes a lot out of you to actually go out and kill multiple people, women can't really handle all those emotions.

Very simple.To be a serial killer you have to have an anti social personality.It's very rare that a woman is diagnosed with this disorder.
