If I have the following flight schedule
Chicago->Paris->Geneva (transiting in Paris, Geneva is the final destination)
and I bought duty free cosmetics from US duty free shop,
is it ok to bring them into the cabin departing from Paris?

Unless it's a big bottle of perfume (more than 100 mi or 3.5 oz) you should be fine.

With bigger bottles of liquid - you're in trouble (two months ago I have went through a pain of pouring in a toilet a bottle of single malt whisky bought in Logan's duty-free). Keep you receipt - if they confiscate it, you might be able to get a reimbursement.

Perhaps u need to put the cosmetics into ur checked in luggage for a faster, hassle free check in at the immigration. As there is the rule that no liquid is allowed in ur cabin luggages.Coz if ure "caught" lets say a perfume in ur hand luggage b4 u enter the aircraft, they might consficated it.So best u keep wot u bought in ur checked in luggage just to be safe.Hope that helped.

u should not have any problems as such. now with no liquids in hand baggage rules, the duty free shops are putting purchases in see through packets & sealing them in such a way that if someone tries to open them, the officials will know. so u can carry them into the cabin with u without any hassles just make sure u do not open the sealed packet.
