Even if the get him they still finish in 3rd place in the divison. He's overrated as well.

I do not think this will happen. I was happy the first time this deal fell through.
Rowand is a great guy. He is a great guy. All the fans of Chicago loved him for his great attitude. But he was not a great player. The reason so many of his catches looked spectacular was because he does not read the ball well off the bat.
Another problem is his baserunning. He is not a good judge of taking another base.
This year, expect to see Erstad in center most of the year. Anderson might be done up here for a bit. I think the Rowand deal will not happen.

As a Chicagoan, all I can say is hopefully not. Rowand has almost a larger-than-life mystique to him here which is not at all deserved. He is an excellent fielding center fielder with very mediocre hitting credentials- below average power, below-average batting average, no speed, and poor ability to make contact. (They already have Uribe to do that).

If he were not part of the World Series team and Crede-AJ trio that sang Don't Stop Believin' (and a good clubhouse personality), no one would care at all about him being gone.

Besides, it would seem that the Phillies would be foolish to trade him, as the only weak point they really have is outfield- they may have the best IF in baseball

Ya'll were given a slender chance of touchdown Aaron Rowand yet hey some thing can ensue.......And as for Torri Hunter he has a house in Dallas and suggested allready that he needs to play for the Rangers so he can spend more beneficial time at the same time with his relatives so yea he's heading to the Rangers next season

Well, I am a big Phillies fan, so I kind of hope not, but if they are willing to get rid of Joe Crede for Lieber and Rowand..plus maybe give up another guy like Rob Makowiack, then I would say maybe..or give the Phillies rome RP help with Crede...otherwise, prolly not dude

No - because they signed Erstad to play center this year while Anderson gets another year under his belt... once Anderson is ready he'll be the starting center fielder...

I doubt it.Kenny Williams seems determined to screw up the team that won the championship.

I don't think they will since they got Darin Erstad.
