You think you got problems? My dad - bless - was born in 1909 and was named Edwin Herbert. The common practice was for boys to be given their father's first name as their middle name. Hence, I was christened David Edwin.

I hate to think how many times I have been asked to repeat my middle name. There were famous people named Edwin - but, apart from me! - how many people do you know named Edwin.
I don't want any more violations, but can you imagine nowadays being named after an ancient heroin - look up John Cleland's works.
So - to answer your question - Herbert.
I was gonna ask you to swop, but you had better come clean first and tell me what you got stuck with!
But good question.
