my mother has not contacted me in over seven months and i can not seem to get through to her mobile. so maybe if i send her a message then she might be able to know that she will be a grandmother in about 5 months

IF YOU HAVE AN ID IN REDIFF.COM THEN THESE ARE THE STEPS TO FOLLOW TO SEND A MESSAGE FROM A COMPUTER TO A CELL.
FIRSTLY GO TO ADD CONTACTS.
THEN IT WILL ASK YOU IF WANT TO HAVE A CONTACT BY MOBILE OR BY MAIL ID'S.
THEN CLICK ON MOBILE. THEN YOU CAN ADD YOUR MOTHERS NUMBER.
THEN IT WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU CAN SEND 2 MESSAGES FREE BUT YOU HAVE TO SEND YOUR MESSAGE IN SHORT ONLY IN 114 LETTERS.

go to your service providers website. you should be able to send a message through them(only a text) but it's worth a try.

All I have to do is go to my cellphone service providers website, and they have that option when you log in.
