They are both cultures with their own individual good things.

The problem with the world today is that one culture wants to prove it's better than all others. Every culture has it's good things and bad things. Why must it be a competition about who's better than who?

The cultural background of each is similar but through recent political change I would argue for Cuba. While less materially well off it has better education achievements, more available health services and a defiant independence. Puerto Rico on the other hand is a second class country to its American masters. It's wealth and power are dominated from outside its territory and it has the problems of America more seriously than Americans themselves.

Hmmmm. Not hard to answer that one. Cubans in the US tend to be much better off financially, very low criminal activity, and don't have parades in NYC that require 5th Avenue to board up the windows and have the Police/Riot Squad on alert.

Why is one better ? I think they are very similar, they both share the same histories and many Cubans fled to PR after Castro took over

Culture is unique. There is no culture that is better than the other. Once everyone recognise and appreciate other cultures, you can learn to tolerate other people's uniqueness.

Get cultured.
