Cut out some left? I'm not sure if that's a typo or not...
However, you can go to any hardware section of a retail store and buy the felt with the heavy duty sticky material already on the felt. It's the same material you would use to quiet the sound of a cabinet door when it shuts or even put them on the bottom of chairs to soften the scuff and sound of a chair being moved.
Just cut out the material to fit the heel's diameter and apply.
Here is a picture of some various shaped sticky-felt circles. These are green, but you can buy them in black, dark and light grey, green, blue, and white. http://www.kitkraft.biz/files/images/d_3365.jpg

Take your annoying shoes to the shoe repair shop and have them replace the cheap plastic clickity clack heels you have with new rubbery heel caps. You get them from taking your shoes to the shoe repair shop. This isn't a do it yourself endeavor, this is one for the shoe guy. It'll cost like $4 per pair of heels. Go get them fixed. Find a shoe shop near your house and take all your heels in for a fix.

yes you can put felt under there ,you can get it in a fabric store or at walmart in the fabric section.
But the best would be to go to a shoemaker ,Cobbler and have him put "quiet" heels on your heels . this would have a longerlasting effect. felt will come off when it is wet outside.
I did that with mine and i am happy with them !

I think you mean felt? You can do this, but it won't last very long. Besides, if it's not even, it will make walking difficult. Take your shoes to a professional; they are the experts!
