Barebones are kinda "cute" and tempting sometimes, but really customizing the parts can be more of a benefit. Some of the "barebones" use old parts or ones that are limited to upgrades. Use something like this guide to help:

What do you want to do with it, gaming, any video or audio editing, general use, and most importantly how much money do you want to spend?

Processors
Intel: for multitasking

AMD: for gaming

Extras
PCI x16: if you want to add todays video cards

SATA: if you want fast hard drives

Power supply: at least 400 watts if you expect to add a video card or extra drives.....

maximum places the sell "barebones" prepare what they have. you cant rather replace it...regrettably many of the barebones I see often have one or 2 products i does no longer purchase so I desire to purchase each and every of the areas one after the different. That way you get precisely what you desire.

out of all of them I have to recommend this one -->

I know it is a built to order on but it highly upgradeable later.
It is also more expensive, but worth the cost in the longer run.
