I honestly doubt it.

A 7 year old PC's memory would most likely be 66, 100, or 133MHz RAM modules at best.

No new PC on the market in the past few years has been designed to use this type of RAM.

Philip

If the Memory or Ram is DDR then you can use it on any new Pc but if it is SD Ram then it's too old to be used what i mean is you can't plug it into your new pc it incompatible.
If they where Sd try & sell them cuz people are still looking for thoes & at ahigh prise

sure, that ram will artwork on your pc, in case you used the reminiscence configurator of newegg they have assure that it will artwork, or they'll supply an entire refund. the only concern you're able to desire to make specific of is blending ram speeds, say in case you had PC2100 interior the workstation and you place a pc3200 in there additionally then the swifter ram (pc3200) might run on the slower velocity (pc2100) yet you will possibly nevertheless have the 1GB. in case you have been to thoroughly replace the ram with pc3200 then it would run at pc3200.

I wouldn't recommend using old memory in a newer machine for 2 reasons
1.) they don't work right in newer machine due to their specifications
2.) They are not always compatible
