simply pull out?

The people have spoken and you are simply not wanted. The numbers who think attacks on coalition forces are justified is rising, there is overall pessimism and many believe that their government is not in control, that the strings are being pulled by the US.

Is it time to either pull out or declare that this is an occupation by the US and that things should be done their way without the facade of Iraqi democracy?

For the "Coalition of the willing"...that was a joke. Iceland was a member and sent two people!

The Iraqis feel they can run their own nation without the US and the UK doing it for them. The USA removed Saddam...so it is time we leave.

The official record, as of 2007, is that only 18% of the Iraqis want us there. That solves the majority and the majority rule. No matter how you look at it, the majority wants us out of Iraq. However, forceful ejection from Iraq may be even more detrimental than having gone in in the first place.

Compare this to another 'survey' the past weekend , this time by Fox News, showing just the opposite. Iraqis are thrilled to have US soldiers there, 'reconstruction' is going well, and the normal bullsh*t.
I wonder which one GWB believes?

soon as we leave, 'they' will take control again using the same fear as a weapon.
make no mistake, should we be there for the next 20 years, as soon as we go home, 'they' will be back.
it is time to leave and as said, let the country decide for themselves, a government is in place and we cannot babysit forever nor do the people want us too.
