Actizyme is available in the shops near the Ddraino (well, in Australia anyway!) and is a great way to keep your drains clean and smell free. A plumber friend had some nasty things to say about Draino and what it does to pipes not to mention his tools!
Bi-carb soda is a natural deodoriser and cleaner, bleach isn't the best due to it's toxicity, and I've not heard of yeast but that certainly sounds interesting.
Hope this helps!

When I worked for a hospital, the kitchen drains had to have weekly maintenance to eradicate this problem. We added yeast to the drains with the right temperature water to activate it. The yeast "eats" the bacteria that causes the odor. An easier, quick fix is to pour baking soda in the trap and let it deodorize.

Go to the hardware store. There is actually a foam spray that is made for cleaning and deoderizing drains. I have some stuff that is made for the garbage disposal, but I use it on all of the drains in the house. Or you could just dump some bleach down there.

Dump some drain cleaner in first. Maybe a big buildup of yuck that is stinking. Then dump baking soda into the drains and let sit. Good luck

I get the same issue. What seems to help is pouring bleach overnight while the sink is not in use.
