I do not wish to take medication for long term, any advice on holistic treatment. Will TCM assist or will it make it worse.

Apply a heating pad or hot moist towels to your shoulder to loosen the muscles, then move it slowly. Repeat process. Just don't use moist towels WITH a heating pad.
