Well, the title of the course, is Religion, and it is not a biblical study(clearly), but a study on the greek orthodox religion. Later, in high school, they also study other religions but, briefly. But if someone is not an orthodox christian(the official religion in Greece) is not obbligeted to have this course. It would be better if there was a study of all the religions, because "Religion" is not a proper name for this course, if it is being taught only the greek orthodox christian religion...

Translated parts of the Bible are taught in Greece as part of religious education. Also, some extracts are taught in Ancient Greek as part of language studies.

i don't know about Cyprys but in greece the don't study the bible at school. preasts teach the bible at Sunday school

In Greece, yes, they do.
Not all of the Book, just some parts, but the hint is given.
I'm afraid I cannot give you any information on Cyprus...

Unfortunately, yes. And there is no mention of other religions that are all considered "Heathen" and "Pagan" by the church.
