I think the story is out of Minneapolis, MinnesO-ta . . . . Muslim grocery cashiers are refusing to scan 'pork products'... . .. . . .
I don't think I need to say another word . .. . . ... . . . ... . . .. . . .. .

What will they demand next ? And WHEN are we gonna put our collective foot down and say , 'Enough is Enough' ??

Just a note : If I'm EVER in ANY store that has a cashier that refuses to scan pork products. . . .. . . . .Then I'm gonna cause the biggest scene possible, so that every single customer in that store will know exactly what's going on !! And I encourage you to do the same !!
Believe it or not, I'm even more bold in real life than I am on here !!

I say Yippee. Free pork chops for every one. If they refuse to scan it then I can refuse to pay for it right?

They are (and others like them) are going to scan themselves out of a job. Now the Muslims will argue that it is against their religion. But it would be countered with the fact that if one was so against pork why would one choose to work in a store that even sells it.

So if this came to pass..... you are in a grocery store and you see a cashier that appears to be middle eastern and you have pork products. Odds are you are just going to stand in the line that has the american. How long is this person's job going to last?

And as this is happening in other fields eventually lawsuits or not people will start to discriminate against Muslims. Why hire someone when you might have something like this happen? Subtle discrimination happens all of the time.

This is kind of funny in a time where Muslims are asking to not be discriminated against because of what the terrorists are doing.

I heard this on NPR the other day.. simply put our nation has no official religion and you can't force your religion on other people.. what the cashiers failed to realize is that they are forcing their beliefs on a company by refusing to scan the pork... it does work both ways after all... they can simply find a different job, work in a different department.. or do what your average Muslim would do in that situation and just scan the pork... they aren't actually handeling it... this is just my opinion.. maybe they should talk to one of their religious leaders about it... I'm sure they would explain to them that it's ok.

That's absolutely ridiculous. If that's true, how does the store figure to sell it's pork? Or do they let another cashier go over and scan it for them? Come to think of it, that's no worse than those Pharmacists that refuse to sell birth control pills. They should all be fired.

Minneapolis-St. Paul is catching the brunt from all the muslims trying to impose Shira Law. This is where the imam's caused a big fuss on the plane. This is where the cab drivers refuse to carry people with dogs and alcohol. Minneapolis... This is your fault for taking in radicals from Somalia.

Another story is those muslims who were acting suspiccious on a plane, and now are suing the airlines company AND THE CUSTOMERS who reported them.

Passing notes on the plane, then praying.

Its this disregard for americans that they are trying to flip around saying we are not sensistive to them.

Its pathetic if the lawsuits keep up.
Our legal system is so flawed -- that it just might win, or at worst be settled out of court..

This is something Foxnews does -- sp9in everythign and turn it around on you

This issue should have been dealt with when they hire these people.

It is not about racism but about doing the job that you were hired to do. If their are parts of the job that you don't like, find another job: PERIOD!

Simply saying "Enough is enough" will not do. Boycott the grocery store if need be. Religious freedoms my ***. If you start to make this evident, only then will change happen. Waiting for it won't.

If they refuse to perform the requirements of the position then they should be terminated period. No one is forcing these people to work in these positions and the only rights they are entitled to from an employment standpoint are those which are spelled out in the state/federal employment standards.

This is interesting, but it is kind of like Pharmacists who refuse to honor prescriptions which conflict with their beliefs. I support those Pharmacists and, I have to admit, I support the Muslim's right not to scan pork. They probably cannot touch it.

There doesn't seem to be any easy fix here. I know some people who divest from companies that are Sharia-friendly to Muslim investors, so, I guess, we could refuse to shop at companies that employ Muslims or sell halal meat. But then I feel we are just demarcating the battle lines that will partition the many good people of this country.

Again discrimination by the "religion of peace". If this country does not come down hard on this now we we be blindsided in the future by these fools.
