we have 3 silver sharks, i pelco and 2 blue dolphin chiclids, they are all babies at the moment about 3 to 4 cm long, we are setting up a 200 litre tank for them, weve added rocks plants, filter well everthing really, will move them in , about a months time, do you think they will all be happy, x

They should be fine for a while, but those Blue Dolphins have certain needs. They do grow to 10", and need very large tanks in the long run, and when they mature you'll find they will become aggressive toward each other - the best way to keep these guys is in harems of 1 male and a few females. Likewise, Silver sharks grow to over a foot long and will need a larger tank then 200 litres. The pleco, if it is the common variety, will also reach a very respectable size given a chance. Your fish, as grown adults, would need a tank of 400 litres or more.

So yes they will be happy for now, but you should have plans for a larger tank down the road, and will need to re-work the Dolphin population at some point, sooner the better since adults are tougher to buy then babies.

I've had the most success with cichlids and they bare the most interesting freshwater fish. i've had convicts, bumble bees and fire mouths. they all are great! good luck. I usually put some black mollies in a new tank and let the tank go through a few cycles before i put the good fish in...
