not yet but they were working on it. In 2002 Patricial Cornwell said "Yes, the Scarpetta movie is still in the works. They are polishing the screenplay and it is based on "Post Mortem." You'll see the new Scarpetta book in about a year." We're still waiting....

Not one of her novels have been made into any type of film.
Patricia Cornwall's personal choice for Detective Kate Scarpetta is: Jodie Foster.

Scarpetta's name is KAYE, not Kate. And she is NOT a Detective. And none of the novels have been made into movies to date.
