Seems to be the case for many people on here.....I would suggest it is a symptom of a greater issue in the relationship...

what's your question? is it true women experience this? or is it true that men do this?
IMHO, yes, it happens that some men get depressed and stop being interested in everything, including sex. Then again, people have different sex drives.
However, there's also the fact that women have a tendancy to sit around waiting for their man to initiate sex when they could simply initiate it themselves.

NO! Sometimes women have to initate the sex. Men don't want to always do the work. One day, ladies, when your man comes home from work, meet him at the door with nothing on but maybe stillettos. Then, jump him. Devote the entire night to him. I can gaurantee that will set the bedroom ablaze again. Do the work one night. He won't seem so bored anymore!

I feel that men like for women to initiate sex and tell them what they plan on doing to them and how . make it surprising, kinky and blow his mind and the TV watching will cease.... not true in my house.. in long term relationships you must be creative or partners become bored at times... sounds like it is boredom or worse another women...

It could be. It also does not have to be depression either. It could be something else that is bothering the man. Depression isn't always a reason.

I sort of agree with it. I'm not sure about the depressed part. I always thought it was because he was either in a rut or just bored with me.

i know that sometimes it's easy to get comfy in a committed relationship and start to take things for granted, so yes, that statement could very well be true...

Depressed?? I would say he's either overworked or tired... If he was crying then ok... depressed.... but I would need a little more drama to make me believe your depressed.
