Female jobs -
Teacher, nurse, midwife, lollipop lady, dressmaker, nursery nurse, childminder, secretary, librarian.

Male Jobs -
Doctor, lawyer, fireman, policeman, traffic warden, investment banker, programmer, mechanic, plumber, builder.

Often find when talking about doctor, we say 'He', even if we don't know that the doctor is a man! When my partner gets back from the doctors, I'll always ask, "What did He say?" eve though it could be a woman.

Girls fun/toys- dolls, teddies, dressing up, role play, netball, ballet

Boys fun/toys- trucks, trains, mud, football, bugs, rugby

They change over time and in different cultures. For example, many men in South Africa who would call themselves traditional regard themselves as inadequate if they can't provide for all the needs of the women and children attached to them. But a few hundred years ago women did all the farming and young boys did the herding, which meant that although the men were the legal owners of all the produce, it was the women and children actually providing for themselves and the men.

This existed more in the past that male roles are the ones with qualification for professional positions like lawyer, doctors, surgeons, politicians, state heads....
while female roles are home duties, assistants to their male superiors, nurses, governesses..... Times have changed. Nowadays a great of women are capable, qualified & employed in what formerly called male roles.

Women usually have jobs as helpers, while men usually have jobs as leaders.

Also, men are supposed to like sports and action, while women like comedy and romance.

In addition, men are supposed to be sex-crazed, and women are supposed to be teases.

Lastly, men are supposed to be irrational and violent, and women are supposed to be nuturing and intelligent.

If any of these roles are reversed, the first thing people think is that the person is gay.

Little girls like pink, little boys like blue.
Women are overly emotional, men don't cry.
Women are "natural nurturers" when it comes to raising children, men are "natural disciplinarians."
