Ok so I lost my virginity about a month ago and I've had sex five times since...but on the fifth time he went deeper than usual, about 5 minutes after we finished, I started cramping REALLY bad....so bad that I almost threw up. It still kind of hurt the next day, but not as severe. Has this happened to anyone, and what could have caused it?

I am going to the doctor today to get it checked out...I'm just wondering what to expect. I thought maybe it might be the cervix thing, or that maybe I have a UTI (ive had some of the symptoms, thats why im going to the doctor in the first place) and I've heard that can cause pain...

I wonder if you have a cyst or something. You should really make an appointment to go see your GYN, especially since the pain was so intense.

I've been thorugh this before and can tell you that he probably hit your cervix really hard which can cause the cramping because the cervix has been traumatized. You can also have cramping from a gyny exam when they do the pap smear to get cells from your cervix to test for cervical cancer. The cramping is really nothing to worry about unless it doesn't go away; if it doesn't go away you need to get checked out at Planned Parenthood or something. Forgive the crudeness of the term - but "doggy style" shortens the vaginal tract which makes access to your cervix easier. With practice, you'll learn how to tilt your pelvis in a way to give your cervix more protection in this position.

Honestly I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes sex hurts... it's normal. He probably hit your cervix. After I had a baby things shifted around and I was very sensitive... I almost remember being crampy after sex. Seriously - don't worry about it. You've just started to have sex... this is territory untouched before and your man is just getting a little less gentle with you the more you have sex.

This happened to one of my friends too. It's possible that he went too deep and hit your cervix, so perhaps next time you should try changing positions and telling him to ease up a little. If it persists and you're really worried about it you can always ask your doctor. Good luck!

severe cramping and you didn't see your doctor and now you want to know what happened? Don't you care about yourself?
you could have many things wrong, get yourself to a doctor who can educate you, not a bunch of unqualified annonyomous strangers, unless you just don't care about yourself.

Erin, Please take this trauma as a word of caution. Premarital sex can only lead to many severe problems. Please think of something beyond the temporary thrill and of the long lasting consequences. Find a new guy in a good church youth group and begin reading your Bible. It's not too late.

that hasnt ever happened to me....but i suggest you call your dr and ask the nurse there.. if you are younger and cant call the dr. call your local health dept. ask for a nurse to speak with and she can help you understand things. you may need to be checked to make sure nothing was torn. good luck.

Go to the doctor. There could be something wrong with your belly that was brought into light by this.

Women can get a form of blueballs just like guys. If you get really excited and aroused but don't have an orgasm women can experiance cramps like that, but of course it varies between women. Don't be afraid to rub your clit and pleasure yourself during or after sex, it's important for you to have an orgasm too.

it happened to me before , not as bad though , but it felt like i was having a baby ! i think is because your muscles aren't relaxed , or maybe his penis is too long ..try relaxing a lttle bit and maybe switch positions that helped me a lot
