Why would anyone ridicule the last name Hunt? It's a fairly common last name. No don't change it. I agree with the other poster, be proud of it. Some people will find anything to make fun of about another person. Teach your girls to ignore teasing.

There are alot of worse last names that would get childrens teased. I had a last name that was really the brunt of so many statements and jokes. I dealt with it and I surveied - your kids will also. "Hunt" is not a bad last name if you are looking at it for teasing

Thats your last name somthing you should be proud to have. I would say not to change it. Its not even a bad name. I can t really imagine what people could say to make you feel bad.

unfortunately... in this day and age your duaghters will fase harsher challanges.. then name calling... focus ur energies on maiking them happier and intelligent young women.. rather then caring this...you cant protect ur childrent from everything bjust trust inurself that you ahve done a good enough job
