I would be grateful if you could tell me if i can claim all the tax i've been paid and to whom shall i address.

Unless you are a foreigner going back to your home country, then no you cant claim your tax back.

You can earn £5200 tax free - that is the same for every individual in the UK. Anything above that is liable to tax.

Then there is National Insurance which is paid above a certain threshold.

We are approaching the end of the tax year now so look and see what you have been paid to date. If it is less than £5200 and you have paid tax you will be due a rebate.

You will need to contact the tax office used by your employer. Your employer should give you this detail, just give them a call to check your personal circumstances.

Your employer will also need to give you a P60 form which details what you have been paid and tax deducted.

You can not claim back all the tax. It is probable that if you have only worked for part of the tax year then you are due a refund. You can claim this refund by contacting the Inland Revenue or using a company such as:

if they have taxed u on emergency tax code then yes, you are allowed to earn so much a year, tax free especially as a student, you need to get into contact with inland revenues.

no, u can only claim tax back if u earn less than £5037 per year. otherwise ur scuppered! and they got u hook line n sinker. i had same problem. even if u dont pay it to start with they'll send u a lovely bill when u least expect it.

you'd need to call the inland revenue.

Their main office is in glasgow i think.

But i don't think your entittled to all your tax back. you might just get a rebate?
