it doesn't matter if you drink HOT stuff it's the amount of caffeine in what you are drinking. Don't forget there's caffeine in chocolate so you'll want to limit yourself during pregnancy

Caffeine intake should be kept down to 300mg. a cup of tea has 35. Hot chocolate has 50 as does coffee.

It's not the 'hot' in the tea that's bad for the baby, it's the caffeine.

Chocolate has a lot of caffeine, so only one cup of day. After the baby is born, if you breast feed, too much chocolate can upset your little one's tummy. FYI.
