Necessary violence, world peace..........?

There has been a lot of talk about how nice peace would be and how useless violence is. I'd like to hear from people who feel violence is all together piontless. People who feel our world can exist without vioence. People who feel there is no such thing as necessary violence, of any kind. How would a violence free world work in all reallity. How is the pen mighty when dealing with exreme sircumstances, such as Nazi Germany, or 9/11? How do we deal with people who live to do violence to innocents without exrteminating them. How can the middle east ever be at peace? Give me examples. Get ready for a debate.

I don't think violence is completely unecessary, but I had to answer so plz READ on...Okay....without self-defence, which can be violent how would you protect your country and family and friends? How???? For ie. in war, when one country is attacked the other fights back, not to show it's strength but to prevent the other from attacking pointlessly again. If you are an non-believer in violence then technically you don't believe in soldiers and police officers, without them we'd get stepped all over.

This is the definition of Heaven.Violence is not only war.''Peace is deeper than the absence of war''A world without any kind of violence would mean equality for everyone.No discriminations.We wouldn't even know what racism is.Sorry but i'm not a native speaker and it's not so easy to express all my thoughts in English.The only thing i know is that i would love to live in a world without any kind of violation.

Violence is necessary for Violence to keep on propagating RE: Is violence necessary for world peace? i. do we need to bomb ppl who are causing troubles for peace. can we have peace no violence?

All violence is the result of not loving and respecting others.

You speak of violence as though it can solve something. How can the problem be the solution?

If it hasn't worked in ten thousand years we seem a bit deranged to think that it is likely to work next time.

-lost of meaning of existance (maybe not but will surely have effect)

change out of fear
change into a monster

--UNFORTUNATELY you are correct even in view of what the Scriptures teach:

FOR INSTANCE at Romans 13, please note what God at present tolerates:

(Romans 13:1-4) “13 Let every soul be in subjection to the superior authorities, for there is no authority except by God; the existing authorities stand placed in their relative positions by God. 2 Therefore he who opposes the authority has taken a stand against the arrangement of God; those who have taken a stand against it will receive judgment to themselves. 3 For those ruling are an object of fear, not to the good deed, but to the bad. Do you, then, want to have no fear of the authority? Keep doing good, and you will have praise from it; 4 for it is God’s minister to you for your good. But if you are doing what is bad, be in fear: for it is not without purpose that it bears the sword; for it is God’s minister, an avenger to express wrath upon the one practicing what is bad.”

--AS NOTED above Jehovah God permits the nations(Superior authorities--granted RELATIVE authority) to wield the sword to possibly stop attrocities AND SOME HAVE, but indeed much injustice continues even when it comes to the stopping of evil like Hitler and Hitler like monsters in all history!

--SO WHAT do you think the ultimate solution is?

----SHOUD WE look to the policing of human affair & forces to the all-powerful robot "TARTOO" as in the movie "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL"
----Should we look to Captain Kirk to intervene with the ENTERPRIZE and its sterling crew--to correct things for the future as far as our earthly situation?

--TO EVEN THINK that humans & human governments can remedy a situation that has supernatural forces backing the atrocities of man-made rulership is rather infantile as explained in :

(Ephesians 6:11-13) “11 Put on the complete suit of armor from God that YOU may be able to stand firm against the machinations of the Devil; 12 because we have a wrestling, not against blood and flesh, but against the governments, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the wicked spirit forces in the heavenly places. 13 On this account take up the complete suit of armor from God, that YOU may be able to resist in the wicked day and, after YOU have done all things thoroughly, to stand firm.”

--WHEITHER you or I believe that such forces exist or not is really of little importance, ALTHOUGH it would be just plain stupid to doubt the POSSIBILITY!

--SCIENTISTS are amazed about the few amazing INVISIBLE forces they have discovered, such as gravity, electro-magnetism, enertia,--AND still know little of their workings!

--JUST IMAGINE the many other forces that exist and such learned people cannot even contemplate of their existence?

--OR should we trust in what Christ promise
in his simple presentation of a "heaenly government" as in the recommended content of the Lord's prayer "....thy kingdom come thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven......"-- to COMPLETELY bring an end to the wickedness?

--GRANTED there are indeed more evil in different rulerships throughout the world, than others!

--BUT can we really say that there exists even 1 nation, government thatis INNOCENT from attrocities?---ABSOLUTELY NOT!

--THAT VERY same "kingdom" with-- TOTAL AUTHORITY not "relative authority" of human rulership mentioned in Romans--will carry out this action in our time:

(Daniel 2:44) “44 “And in the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be brought to ruin. And the kingdom itself will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it itself will stand to times indefinite;”

--MANKIND is facing the ULTIMATE situation of ARMAGGEDON --in which ALL the nations are put in judgement!

--THIS IS NOT the armaggedon of the movies, economic collapse etc. that has been portrayed and MISINTERPRETED ---this indeed is the Armaggedon of Jehovah God & his Son Christ!

--Note please WHO instigates the "WAR TO END ALL WARS"----
