i think you should start with the guitar because the ukulele is completely different and learning one then the other would just complicate things

A Ukulele has 4 strings . A guitar has 6. Now there are 7 string guitars. to no longer point out the 12 string. The Ukulele has different chords than the guitar. Is performed greater like a banjo than a guitar. it incredibly is an exceedingly small version in visual charm of the guitar.

I think the very first thing to do is you must learn how to play a guitar then when you master all the frets and chords then finally explore another kind of instruments like ukelele or other instrument who uses a string...

go with the guitar. ukelele will get u nowhere . Start with an acoustic . but if you're wiling to go with an electric at first then go with it. but if you've had absolutely no experience with any kind of music teaching (other than what they do at school) then go with the acoustic guitar.

I think it may complicate it. They have different scales, different strings, and different feel to the fretboard. If you plan to play the guitar, I say start with the guitar, and not waste your guitar playing time with uke playing. :)
