Absolutely. I am psyched with the talent on the Yankees this year. With the addition of Bobby Abreu last year we have another bat and a solid fielder. Our lineup looks like an allstar squad and our pitching looks to be solid this year. Phil Hughes looms in the background should any starter go down. It's all good this year. 27 in 2007.

Yes, especially if they become a more cohesive unit.
The Media has been asking for the Yankees to start infighting like the Yanks of old, to make for good reading. Joe and Brian have kept one step ahead of the media by getting rid of the trash (Sheffield etc.)
A-Rod works his stuff out the Yanks will be just Fine!

Of course they do, but its going to be tougher. Boston has improved its chances of being able to win their division. The Wild Card seems poised to be coming from the AL Central with the wide array of talent that Minnesota, Detroit, Chicago and Cleveland all have. It's going to be tougher for the Yankees, but do they have a shot? Sure.

I would normally answer a question of this caliber with something sarcastic, but due to your ignorance in the subject of baseball I shall be kind. Yes the Yankee's do have a chance to do well this year.

On paper, Yes! But the egos and l"ack of playing as a team" will doom them yet again. I just hope that this year some team, more deserving, wins the pennant and goes to the playoffs. I'm tired of seeing this overrated team fall apart in the playoffs.

I really don't see what they need. Maybe a 6th starter but only the Yankkes know what it's like to carry 6 starters. They have finally replenished the farm system with plenty of trading chips if need be. I think they will be just fine! A-Rod will have his bes season in the Bronx yet mark my words!

Although I hate the Yanks, they have a good team. But then again, they always have a good team. With all the talent they "aquire", they should be unstoppable. But that's just on paper. I think they will do what they did the past couple of years and come up just short. Whether that be in the division or in the playoffs, I just don't think they will win it all.

If The Red Sox didn't play at all? They'd have a fair chance.

Is the Pope Catholic? Is the sky blue? Is water wet? Are the Red Sox losers? How about "good enough to win their 27th world championship!!!!"
