yes but i would think you would need some background of sap - an example was an instrument tech that trained with our company as a superuser on the system when sap was installed at our company has gone on to work for SAP Americas and is making great money.

SAP is a wide environment, it depends if u wanna work in consultancy or programming for SAP
i think they use ABAP as programming tool
