It's not all women, my mom and I are huge football fans (Redskins' and Steelers' fans respectively), it's those women who talk during the action who give us a bad name. If you want to watch the game with your guy, here's what you do: Keep your mouth shut during the game, if you don't know what's going on, only ask during COMMERCIALS and TIME-OUTS. Or just pick up "Football for Dummies" and read it during the off-season or pre-season.

My girl watches all the time with me. She never misses a game. As a matter of fact......she's probably a bigger Patriots fan than some men I know who claim to "love their team" I think she's awesome and woman have a place watching the game anyday. Just don't ask too many questions during the plays ladies! wait for a commercial or in between plays! lol.

Two big reasons come to mind.
1)Women that don't know the game and annoy the guys asking questions that the guy feels is stupid. It interrupts the game as well when the guy tries to explain it. Those are the same women who make comments like oh isn't that guy good looking or aren't those uniforms cute or other nonsensical comments when it comes to the game.
2)Guys like to be with the guys. They want to act like disgusting pigs as you women would call it. Other guys don't find it disgusting though. Yet some of us don't want to act like that around women, so we would rather they not be around and it is our GUY time. After all watching football is something guys can do togther and bond, without it making us wonder about our friends and without using the word bond.

Football has become really popular among women.Why not for a woman to watch it and even support a team?Many men were fans of Sex and the city....heheheh

i think its okay for women to watch football with men if they know whats going on. i watched a lot of game with my girlfriend and mom.

they get mad because we pay more attention to which team is drafting who which teams are going to the playoffs etc more than we pay attention to their new hairstyle or nails i cant watch football with my girlfried shes a Eagles fan and im a Cowboys fan imagine how it gets between us when they face each other...
