Can you hack into Age of Empire 2: Age of Kings?

i cannot use these cheats on the demo. pepperoni pizza and other cheats but i can use marco and polo. Can you tell me what is wrong and tell me what to do?

well, if its the demo, it probaby doesnt have all the cheats built in to it.... go buy the game!!
